da-sein.de is a free service. The protection of your data is very important to us. You can therefore use the online consultation without having to provide any personal information about yourself. You only need a username and password. We recommend that you choose a username that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your real first and last name. We use the voluntary information that you provide when registering (age, zip code, gender, etc.) almost exclusively for internal evaluation.
Providing your e-mail address is also voluntary. If you enter it, you will be notified when you receive a new message from da-sein.de. We have no access to this data, which means we only see your user name. Once you have created your account, you can enter your contact details under administration. We recommend that you do not use this function to protect your anonymity. You can delete your account yourself at any time.
The entire da-sein.de team is subject to confidentiality. This means that we are legally bound not to share anything you entrust to us with anyone else without your consent. However, there are exceptions: the duty of confidentiality does not apply if you credibly announce a crime or a threat to yourself or others. Past crimes remain unaffected.
